who am i

i’m Dafanichel, born in Puerto Rico and based in Massachusetts. my work moves between observation and experimentation, noticing details that carry memory and feeling, each project a chance to see things differently and evoke nostalgia.

photography and design are how i see and play with light, form, and texture, drawn to simple, everyday moments and objects and the way they inhabit space. composition, shadow, and subtle gestures guide what i frame, balancing clarity with discovery.

ceramics is where form becomes tangible, surfaces and shapes revealing process and time, each piece bold and simple, inviting presence and attention.

all of it is connected by curiosity and care, the work creating space to reflect, linger, and feel.
